9/11 Memorial Ground Breaking Ceremony at the East Islip Public Library

Come join the East Islip Chamber of Commerce on Saturday September 10th at 10:00am for the ground breaking ceremony of the new 9/11 Memorial to be built to the right of the East Islip Library entrance.  The East Islip Community Chamber of Commerce has secured a piece of steel from one of the Twin Towers and has put together a fantastic rendering of the final project.  All are welcome to honor all of the American’s who paid the ultimate price for our freedom and way of life.   This 9/11 memorial will honor the United States of America’s Military, New York City Fire Department, New York City Police Department, first responders and civilians who are no longer with us today.  Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.  Our country will never forget them and will always honor their courage and commitment to the their fellow American’s and will always be grateful for the freedom we enjoy in our beautiful country, the United States of America.  God Bless America.
